The Twelfth Doctor

Beginning his tenure in 2014, Capaldi took on the role of the Twelfth Doctor for three seasons. Like many of his modern predecessors, this iteration of the Time Lord is a man of kindness, but he is equally capable of making ruthless decisions when necessary – to the great terror of his enemies.

On his trips through space and time, the Twelfth Doctor was accompanied by various companions: Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman), Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie), and Nardole (Matt Lucas).
